Led on Jonny's gear past the crux, after he lowered off. Not as safe as I would have liked - we both must have missed a placement! Was glad of Jonny's gear, much less pumpy as a clip-up, and I knew the gear was good. Didn't finish up the HVS, carried on straight up after the bulge. Seemed like a better line that way - independent, straighter, more interesting moves, good quality rock..

Fairly sketchy attempt. Pushed through most of the pumpy crux section by the skin of my teeth, missed some gear (I think) and ended up fairly runout and very boxed. A scary few minutes trying to shakeout in a tenuous rest came to end when I thankfully found a good RP placement to lower off from. Definitely learned some lessons about pushing my grade!

And Johnboy. More a pump than anything else, potentially hard E3 for this reason, but well protected crux sections. 3 stars?
