Rockfax Description
Complex and excellent climbing. Start 5m right of the ramp. Head up rightwards, past a flake crack with difficulty and on to below the mid-height bulges and roofs. Intricate moves up the leaning wall eventually reach an easier finishing groove and lower-off. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Enthralling and superb. Beginning to draw an appreciative audience. Start 5m right of the base of the ramp.
Climb to a flake crack (bolt) then continue directly up on surprising hidden holds past two bolt runners to meet the right end of the overlap. Span up rightwards (bolt) to a large fragile pocket then step back left onto the white wall (bolt) which is climbed with some interest past a further two bolts to reach the big groove above. Finish easily up this (bolt) to a new double ring abseil station at the top of the wall.
Originally E4 6a (with two bolts). The line was retro-bolted in 2013.
G A Jenkin, M Ward, direct start, 29/4/1989 (indirect also with N Buckley, M J Crocker 24/1989) 29/Apr/1989.
