4c moves in loose groove before Oak are protected by dubious gear (nut behind detached looking flake and large cam in flared crack), nice upper section. Meant to do Monsoon/Pinnacle as warm up and started in wrong place.

Well stiff for the grade, watch out for loose stuff!!

Pants before Oak - good after.
Slick - Lead - 09/Sep/12 with Kevin Vans-Colina

Some strenuous reachy moves to tree. Upper part (in near-darkness!) was good - good gear, moves & rock. First half seemed vegetated & poor rock, but top part saved the route - 1 star.

The massive flake/block in the groove below the oak tree does not appear to be reliably jammed in. Probably wise to avoid using it for hand/foot holds (or gear) - but this is easier said than done!
bpmclimb - 2nd rpt - 22/Mar/11 with Helen S

masses of suspicious rock (although less now that Brian booted off the most dangerious blocks on second). I wouldn't recomend it!
hms - Lead O/S - 22/Mar/11 with Brian

Felt straightforward. Nice moves up to the oak. Some loose rock on this one, some quite large.
GC - 2nd O/S - 17/Oct/10 with Peter Williams

Enjoyable route. Found it quite easy at the start. The crux for me was quite high up the route.

Had to rescue a friend who took a 20m fall on Monsoon. as for this route, very loose in places, often dirty and vegetated. tough for the grade.
Webster - 2nd - 25/May/10

Quite tough & scarry, with a lot of dodgy rock. Crux is bit by the tree, top not as hard as it looks
PaulWatson - 2nd O/S - 13/May/10 with Dave P

Rubbish. Loose, dirty, green, aimlessly wandering. Fairly sustained but barely deserves being called a route, let alone a star!
mullermn - Lead O/S - 18/Apr/10 with Luke Vincent

Tried to remove nut left behind by Chris below, spent 5 minutes on it thinking Andy had placed it. It's still there.
pffft - 2nd O/S - 18/Apr/10 with Andy Arbon

Pussied out at the crux and ran away!
MikeLell - Lead dnf - 05/Apr/10 with Jamie

mrfeebus - 2010

Left behind a nut nr the start :(
Chris Homewood (Swindon MC) - 2nd O/S - 24/Jun/09 with Dave Gale

A bit tottering in places
Bristoldave - 2nd O/S - 13/Jun/09 with Joe & Caroline

Rob84 - Lead O/S - 24/Jan/09 with Jonboy

Long, good, and quite hard for the grade. A few loose blocks - deciding what to pull/step on is part of the challenge, I suppose. We both really enjoyed this climb.
