8m. The hanging left arete of the face is gained from the face on the right. Climb a groove to a big spike runner, step down and balance out to the arete. Swap sides and finish more easily. © ROCKFAX

Looks like some major holds have snapped off. Would've been hard enough anyway, now it's just nails.

fannyed about adn had to rest on first bit of gear! went back to the flake and did it clean
Ginger McGrath - Lead RP - 02/Apr/11 with emily roo

Hidden - 2nd - 02/Apr/11

Spicy traverse. Teetered out then thought better of going out away from the gear, so found another RP placement at my feet halfway through the traverse to prevent a swing
Euan Strachan - Lead O/S - 02/Apr/11 with Rori Brooker

went too low and nearly stacked it :)
clarky - Lead O/S - 02/Oct/10 with Ian Birtwhistle

Bit of a doddle. There is a good wire to be had on an expanding flake before the arete.

V.Good climb, good exposure but short. Very straightforward only put a sling on the spike then climbed to the top E2 5b**

still a very nice route.
Trefo - 2nd rpt - 17/May/09 with tom pitchforth

Silly top rope link up with crux of First Born to start, not recommended!
Chad123 - AltLd rpt - 25/Apr/09 with Kiwi Steve

very nice airy climbing,a really good route. Definitely an E2, as a fall whilst placing gear on the arete would result in a large swing into the slab.
Trefo - Lead O/S - 18/Apr/09 with rich

Contender for route of the crag - fine, exposed traverse with brilliant arete to finish... ***
Woodiee - Lead O/S - 18/Apr/09 with Rose Stephenson

Fantastic route, tricky move coming out onto the arête (crux) then lovely moves all the way up. Three stars.

Hard E1? Easy E2?? The debate continues - it's airy and a little bold to the arete, but only really 1 or 2 5b ish moves... Excellent position, shame it's so short! We both lead it in the end - Humble's first E2!

Felt high in the grade when I did it in 1994. Don't suppose its got any easier since. p.s. while I was belaying on the slabs at the top, an adder came winding in and out of my ropes to and from the tree.
