Last pitch in too poor condition to climb. Will dropped a chunk of ice on my nose.
simrun - 2nd dnf - 23/Mar/15

Hidden - Mar/15

Easy but scant first pitch. The second pitch was bald, very difficult to protect and well above the grade, so backed off from the in situ tat
steve7734 - Lead dnf - 15/Feb/15 with Rich Preston

Extremely thin and unprotectable at the moment. Never grade II or even III in current conditions.
Elsier - AltLd dnf - 14/Feb/15 with Carol

SUColdo - AltLd - 06/Feb/15 with Andy McNaughton

Insecure climbing and hard won gear. Def at least grade 3 just now.
arose - AltLd - 17/Jan/15 with Graham Dawson

MonkeyDawson - 17/Jan/15 with Ali Rose

Alex Thompson - AltLd O/S - 29/Mar/13 with Haydn Martin

Me P1, Jim P2. Lean at the top and a pretty spicy grade III on the day, possibly tech 4. Blue sky day.
stratandrew - AltLd O/S - 25/Feb/13 with Jim Symon

Hidden - 23/Feb/13

start for neb, going directly at the top def made it interesting with couple of moves def harder than anything on neb!
simondunf - 23/Feb/13 with caspar

Hidden - AltLd - 02/Feb/13

Did the two snow pitches at the bottom; backed off when the mixed pitch at the top revealed itself to be unprotected choss covered with thin rotten ice.
ladislav - AltLd dnf - 02/Feb/13 with Aaron

Thin - III
Jacks20 - AltLd - 2013 with jeff thorley

Climbed in order to get to North East Buttress. First half was fine, moving together but rapidly found ourselves on nails unprotectable mixed. Terrifying. Took forever and had to abandon NE buttress... COuldn't find the approach ledge either and had a terrifying downclimb as well..
RKernan - AltLd O/S - 30/Jan/12 with Alek Zholobenko

Route was barren and it got dark
Blurgy319 - Lead dnf - Jan/12

colenn - Lead - 18/Mar/11

PanzerHanzler - 2nd O/S - 06/Mar/11 with Adrian Fagg, Norman S

First pitch- winter. Second pitch 'wet-tooling' and very loose to start! Used as a start to N.E.B.
John Workman - AltLd - 05/Mar/11 with Apprentice

I'm glad others thought it was hard for a II! Got to the un-banked-out top and backed off - horrible!
Joolz - Lead dnf - 20/Feb/11 with Matt Upwood

Hidden - AltLd - 15/Apr/10

Slingsby was having a laugh when he graded this a 2..Used as an approach for intended North East Buttress
Lawrie Brand - AltLd O/S - 04/Apr/10 with John Chivall

Very slushy on the first pitch and a lot of bare, steep rock for the second! Not ideal conditions, but we got it done!
guyscott - AltLd O/S - 15/Mar/10 with Tommy

Climbed to upper basin, had to queue as route was busy. Ice falling everywhere so down climbed & headed off.
Stuart Macfarlane - Lead dnf - 13/Mar/10 with Jeanie

trickier than expected, fun at the top
tomdude - AltLd - 12/Mar/10 with lawrence

Took central line where gully widens, maybe III
wence - AltLd O/S - 12/Mar/10 with Tom

Used to gain NE Buttress. Mixed towards the top for added interest. More like a tech 3
Big Lee - Solo O/S - 19/Feb/10 with Mark Torrance

Hidden - 2nd - 16/Feb/10

Would not recomend this a start to NE buttress, felt nails hard as it wasnt banked out
david morse - Lead O/S - 14/Feb/10 with chris todd

Hidden - 2nd O/S - 14/Feb/10
