Thankfully not too hard to the gear ledge. Had my solo head on. Harder after the ledge, so glad of the rope then ;) Dr Toph - Lead O/S - 19/Sep/13 with Emily
Lead but didn't place gear to make it easier to haul the bags. Silly really, part of me was disgusted at the potential to mess up the traverse into the 5b finish. Otherwise a cool route.

Luke lead Red & Yellow... I decided to take the direct route from the ledge.

If it is E3 would be my first! Even with the good gear relatively near to the crux you still wouldn't want to fall onto that ledge....

From my medium Cam (See Red and Yellow and Pink...)I placed my smallest offset IMP, before passing the crux Placed my largest DMM offset Nut in a large crack before topping up on a ledge below the top of the cliff. Anchor very easy to set up. Exit eather on Foot by the left side or abseiling from the right, never the less be careful if you do as the edge is full of slate debris.

pretty steady. 5a moves lead to the gear (which is fairly good) then maybe only just a 5b moves gains the groove and then back to 5a climbing. maybe easy E3. really nice climb though

Kind of under alot of relief to at least have gear somewhere below after doing Red&Yellow.. so I attacked the moves quite forcefully and found it went quite neatly. There was one definite sketchy move rightwards iirc

A bold lead until the gear, climbed very well by Mike. The top a tricky move suff protected. E1 5a below the gear and E2 5b above the gear seems correct.

It's steady upto the gear but the move after the gear nearly spat me off.

first e3 lead! thought it was a bit necky for e2 5b, even on slate. bouldery start leads to poor runners and a bold crux!
mulletcocktail2000 - Lead O/S - 20/Jul/09 with john
With ROY finish. Unprotected section is intimidating and not as simple or secure as you'd want at 5a or E1, glad I didn't lead it, not my sort of thing.
