morganator - Lead O/S - 13/Aug/15 with Nicky Parkin

Hmm....would have taken 'the ride' (rested once) glad I shunted it before the lead. Basically if you don't want to know the beta look away! First wall from tree 5a/b moves with minimal gear, under roof lot's of good gear to be had & I think a piece over the roof for move. Passed roof on the right, lovely high step rock over to good stance and rest. 5a moves to ledge with some small wires, making sure you get the gear in the small left hand finger crack before carrying on to the bigger ledge...breath, maybe a micro wire at small spike before the crux, then high reach with thin feet for a small right handed crimp, left hand on a smaller crimp foot up and pull like hell! Crucial wires in where right hand is! Found the next two moves tricky and awkward when all you want to do is finish I imagine-off balance maybe me...then better holds lead to massive thank god chain tree belay! Excellent line, proper climbing...will try and lead it soon... Safe if you can get the gear in obviously...

Amazing, wanted to do this for a while - did not disappoint!
robertmichaeladams - Lead - 05/Jul/14 with Chris Down

Amazing climbing, a top class route. We were threatened with small rain showers throughout but we managed to finish seconds before the heavens opened. Excellent evening raid.

Led easy first pitch. Wet, interesting belay on broken tree. Pa failed on second pitch, spent hours trying crux.

Hol - pitches 1 and 3; me - pitch 2. Just brilliant! Wanted this for a long time. For some reason, had assumed the crux was going through the first roof, so thought I was cruising...however, the crux-proper comes higher at the bulge, and so it was a bit of a shock when it arrived. It's stiff, but managed it clean. Very pleased.

Thought the crux was very sequency - went up and back to the ledge about ten times! Maybe hard 5c once you get the right sequence, certainly 6a if not.
Stone Muppet - Lead O/S - 08/Jun/13 with ah

Harder than grand alliance
Apharri - Lead O/S - 05/Jun/13 with Dave Wharton

Toms gear mostly in situ on the main pitch after his sterling lead effort. Since the crux is above it anyway it sped things up but didn't make any difference to difficulty. We followed chalk and in hindsight took the "easier alternative 2 metres right" the guide mentions for the lower bulge, but didn't really clock this until abbing down.
AJM - Lead β - 03/Jun/13 with Tom Lambert

Gave it everything before falling off the crux on lead but managed to second it clean. Will be back.
Tubs - 2nd β - 03/Jun/13 with AJM

A good route - varied climbing with two cruxy sections, sustained but with a few good routes, generally good gear apart from the slightly spicy run out on the crux. On the main crux at the bulge I climbed up to have a look, failed to commit and climbed back down to the ledge, which probably used up more energy than going for it would have done! Did it fine on the second go, fairly hard for 5c but nothing desperate. Tim led the lovely wet and slimy first pitch.
Misha - Lead O/S - 01/Jun/13 with Tim Newton

tim newton - 2nd O/S - 01/Jun/13 with misha nepogodiev

Lead the slimy, wet, crap first pitch (4b) as was still buckled after trying Fallen Angel earlier in the day. Very hard for E3.

Amazing route, foot slipped off going for the last move above the buldge, cam popped and took a big fall resulting in a painful bum. Gutted but pleased to get it on 2nd.
john lynch - 2nd - 10/Jul/11 with simon smith

Hardest E3 5c ive been on i think. Suspicions that it has shed some rock bumping it up a notch. Still fairly safe though

Mostly quite easy climbing apart from the overhang & the crux section near the top that is much harder than anything else & quite pokey - don't fall off, probably go quite a long way! Superb.
