Climb the roof (crux) and face left of Pensioner’s Bulge. © ROCKFAX
"Climb the roof and slab to the right of Pensioner's Bulge. In detail: Climb the slab direct to a bulge, from the bulge (crux)climb up the arete to the left of Pensioner's bulge which requires the use of some holds on the front face (ie. right of the arete). An alternative way pinning down the route is.. If looking at the guide (p357), draw a line up the slab, over the bulge and up the face above, about 2-3mm right of the arete you would be spot on. (The line of Pensioner's bulge starts another 1.5-2cm to the right). There's no gear. It feels about as hard as 'Halcyon Daze' at Brimham, hence the E2 6a grade"
