After descending from Aiguille Du Midi did this before coming back round to do the Cosmiques Arete. Nice straight forward climbing. Had to be quick on the descent to the Col du Midi as there was fresh evidence of Serac fall.

Moved together for bulk of route, I led the chimmney. Almost got knocked out at half height due to some twat above kicking off a head sized lump of snow ice. Luckily I saw it coming and it smashed on the back of my helmet, Lucky escape!

Route in very icy condition, on previous attempts had been snow to summit of 1st point and was a 30-40m ice pitch. Did not have sufficient ice equipment to complete climb - backed off half way up face.

Nice wee easy route in impressive surroundings, slightly easy than cos arête but longer with approach/decent. Watch out for the seracs hanging of tucals North face, watched some guys descending narrowly avoid getting taken out and it was only a minor fall.
