Rockfax Description
A thin crack in the wall leads to steep juggy terrain. Avoiding Bilberry Buttress is tricky in places - just do your best. © Rockfax

Not sure if I climbed this properly. Up the crack and then up the arete, finishing up the bilberry buttress wall at the top. Felt about HVS. Nice route though.

If you get your foot high and lay away the lower crack is fairly straight forward. After this the climbing is on good holds but feels quite steep. Unfortunately its proximity to Bilberry Buttress in its upper part makes it feel a bit artificial and disappointing even so its just about worth a star overall.

Richard got to the tree and then stopped. I finished but did not pull the ropes so not a clean lead.
