Really good route. Climbed as two pitches. I led 1 & 2 together and Mark did the top 2. Followed the guidebook recommendation to climb the corner of pitch 2 from the start instead of back and footing up behind the pedestal and gave some good climbing.

Great contrasting route. Did it in 4 pitches, me 1 and 4, Al 2 and the 'bold' third pitch. Couldn't haul myself and the tonne of gear up the mantel so heel-hooked instead. Al did a good job on his pitches. Loved the move around the roof on P4, and the juggy moves up the black vein. Also sustained torque nut injury.
