Had a few false starts on the lower slab. Just walked off after the start - it seemed a bit pointless to carry on as it was so easy to just escape.

Never E1 in a million years. It's considerably harder than black chipper. Hard E2 6a if the rock was clean easily E3 in it's curent state. The mantel at the top is worth font 6b alone.

Found it in terrible condition - damp, sandy, lichenous - making progress extremely difficult! At least three separately hard cruxes, with dubious gear for two of them. Couldn't top out, had to escape off to the left.
