Rockfax Description
A good route with an intricate first pitch and butch second.1) 6a. 16m. Start at the foot of the rightward-trending line of overhangs. Pull leftwards around the lower bulge to reach thin cracks and small wires. Continue up the technical shallow scoop to better holds and good gear. Move up past a dead yew tree and then left across broken ground to reach the crawl terrace. Scuttle leftwards along this for 5m and belay on high wires beneath a downward-pointing flake.2) 5c. 12m. Pull onto the smooth wall, using the downward pointing flake, and layback up the wall with a stretchy move to reach a ledge and tree near the top. © Rockfax
