In April 2010 Plas y Brenin are set to host the first ever UKClimbing.com Alpine Festival. This great weekend event is a unique opportunity for UKC users to learn from some of the Country's leading Alpinists and Mountain Guides and to mix with like-minded people and celebrate Alpine achievements and aspirations.
The event will take place on the weekend of 24 and 25 April at Plas y Brenin in North Wales and will consist of a diverse series of Skills Workshops, Demonstrations and Lectures spanning all range of Alpine topics; from Ropework to Photography; from Planning to Rescue; from Trekking to Traversing. It is sure to be popular but places are limited so make sure you book early.
There are still a few places left but they are going fast so get your booking in as soon as possible!
Everyone who goes on the weekend will get a Goody Bag packed with great gifts from the event sponsors - the bag itself is a Beal Folio Rope Bag kindly donated by Lyon Equipment.
UKClimbing is proud to be associated with this event and we'd like to thank Plas y Brenin and all the event sponsors
