Great Sail Peak, Baffin Island
Our Friday Night Video this week takes us to Baffin Island. In August 2016, Brette Harrington and the late Marc-Andre Leclerc established two new routes on Great Sail Peak. The team sets off on snowmobiles over the summer solstice and were often delayed as they navigated through shifting ice. Once established at the base of Great Sail Peak, the team initially attempted the West face, although they quickly had to reassess their objectives.
