How was it pitch black? The picture is blurred because of camera shake, but the sky is burnt-out (over-exposed) and the mid-tone areas are correctly exposed. It may have been dusk, but certainly not pitch black :)

haha damn you're superior knowledge, that makes sense. Yeah . . may have bigged it up a bit but it was too dark for normal climbing, unless the climber has an unnatural intake of carrots within themselves.
