This route is/was on the now banned Confines sector above the road. It was a combination of Le Bouclier - a steep wall pitch at 6c/7a and a long, two pitch traverse - the Eperon du Nul, an entertaining route with two pendulums on fixed knotted ropes, at about 6b. A lot of the protection was from insitu threads and just a few bolts. As you can see from the chalk, it was quite popular at the time.

This is in fact Le Styx, an old and now abandoned traverse of the Styx wall, not Eperon du Nul.
