Can't remember if Simon Nadin did it before Malc...

According to the old Wye Valley guide it was Nadin who did the 2nd ascent. Did Malc actually get it? Makes it sound like he didn't in that guide...?

I belayed Malc quite a few times on it and I remember Simon doing it... (looks like Mike Watson - Stew's father - belaying here). When I posted the photo, 21 years later(!) I honestly couldn't remember if Malc had done it. I asked him and he said he kept falling off, so I guess he didn't. Never got round to changing the caption - which I'll do now!

I belayed Stew on this route on Monday 30th August 2010, he did it second redpoint. Stew has just rung me from Austria and asked me to look at the picture since it looks like me belaying. It was, and I had totally forgotten about that day. I remember Monty climbing up a tree to take the picture and H and I laughing and trying not to distract Malc. This was in the good old days of The Monday Club. Good memories and great to belay my son on the route many years later.

Hi Mike! I realised I must have been up a tree, but have no recollection of climbing it! Seems Stew has joined The Monday Club then... must have been an omen! Long live Monday Club.

Hi Jon. Other new members of The Monday Club are Mart, my youngest son, Stew's girfriend Sabby and her sister Kathi. I wanted them to all do your route "Whoes line is it anyway" but it was busy all day!!

Apparently the belay (on WLIIA) is now lower so you don't have to do the run out at the top, so my spies tell me. I think it should be put back how it was.

... you should have pointed them at Hooligans!

Apparently Simon Nadin did it second go...
