The route is either 5.7 AO, or 10c to free an initial traverse.
I've been to Tuolumne several times and never encountered the fabled chickenheads - but in the Cochise Stronghold they can be amazing.

No it's reet hard, granular granite. Not unlike bits of JT. You can go through shoes v quickly on stuff like this!
