Thanks Kafoozalem... climber is myself, will be back to try leading this at some point. Great venue but intimidating for leading at the moment.

It is a bit intimidating at first - steep and polished but you get used to it. It is a terrific winter suntrap.

Yes I've been there when it's rained at Haytor, and it's the closest crag from mine only 15mins away, so I'll be sampling it's delights this winter. My guess as a beginner is that the polished nature might in fact be good for technique and strength to take to other less polished venues.
