My life is too short to unravel the inaccuracies of Nick White's description for this climb in the SD&D guide. Well it definately doesn't start right of Hydraulic Arete (denoted H in the photo). I have drawn my best guess with the line denoted "S". It is a chimney (but not sqaure cut) and maybe it does traverse 15' left at a ledge. The route I soloed looks slightly stegosauranesque to me and it was a chimney at a bit harder than diff I should say but back and footing on moss was never my strong point. Frankly I am as baffled as ever. And where the hell is Right Chimney?

I found it :-D face pulpit block and head around left, scramble round past hydrologic arete, and Stegadeca chimney is just past it on the left, it looked pretty mossy and unused, you can see the beginning of the climb in the photo on page 232 of rockfax west country climbs:-D it shows the line for Hydrologic Arete and just to the left you can see the start of Stegadeca Chimney, mystery solved!!

That's exactly where my topo puts it too so we are in agreement. The page reference should be 323 :-)
