This is indeed the top pitch of Black Icicle - not Wild Sheep.
The climber in this photo is George Rea.
This pitch is too good to miss out on account of the (in my view) hairy technicalities of Black Icicle's first pitch.
The combination with Monolith Crack first pitch (and a short scrabble down left to the lower tree) provides a pleasant bold HVS combination rewarded with a direct ascent of the beautifully exposed juggy prow of the arete at the top.
