As a rule, I don't really like tightly cropped climbing shots (preferring to see all limbs etc!). However, I think the framing works really well here to focus on the tension. Excellent!

Hah, thanks for the comments and yes, I know what you mean about cropping 'mid-limb'. I've not looked at this photo for ages so can't figure out quite why it's done this way. I'll maybe try and locate the original to see if there was a logical explanation.
