I like this because it starts to show the essence of the exposure which characterises the route. The image on one of the former guides to The Ben perhaps shows off the 'out there' feeling but this image captures the jaw-dropping nature of the 'scale armor' (lorica squamata),which is the unique feature of this cliff.
I'd love to do the route but the wet has won every time....so far!
