Conditions that day were not ideal...cold and damp, so Mike Tooke and I first climbed the normal route leaving a good Friend in the short vertical crack. When I led the Arete Finish, I clipped the runner for extra security...I'm glad that I did and nearly needed it, as I had a "moment" on greasy holds just below the top.
