A midnight ascent of Myriam, done in 5 pitches (the brighter spots are the belays). This is part of the new Rockfax policy to ensure topo route line accuracy.
The light on the right is from a spectacular late night cloud inversion over Cortina.

Thanks Jon, Fiona and Paul :)
Paul - There are many bad photos and indeed failed ones. You just don't get to see them ;)

Fantastico!

How so little star trailing on what must have been a very long exposure? Stitch or just very wide lens? Lovely shot!

Thanks Steve and Chris.
Chris you are quite correct. The sky is a single 30 second exposure (as the two hour version looked a little psychedelic with the clouds coming in and out). The camera was set to take a photo every 30 seconds for 3 hours, hence the light trail when the images were stacked together. I hope that helps!
