Photo taken about 1963 when aid climbing was popular. This was one of my early attempts at aid climbing and the belayer was almost certainly Bill Burlton or Charlie Tanner

Did you use the manky tree on the lip of the overhang? When I did it in the late 60's, early 70's, it was just hanging on by it's roots but we still put a sling round it and pulled up onto the slab watching it flex alarmingly!

Cant recall much about it apart from aid climbing then (without harnesses) was hard on the body.
