Probably not the best choice for a night session, being in view of the house above ?

Is it illegal to climb at night then?

Obviously not, but I imagine the people in the house don't want noisey climbers with lights in what's pretty much their garden at all hours. In fairness to TheReaper, it says this photo was taken in March, so it could be 6 or 7pm, so it probably isn't an issue. I'm just trying to point out that people who see photos like this shouldn't be turning up in the middle of the night at venues that are close to houses, have sensitive access, etc. Good thread on ukb http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,26747.0.html

Fair point but we judged this to be pretty discrete, being downhill and facing away from the house with some screening by the trees. Certainly way less conspicuous than Trackside for example, which probably gets x 10 more nocturnal visits.

I thought most boulderers go clubbing during the night?
