Found in the bed of Easy Gully and brought back to Laggan in the unlikely event you want it back!

Brilliant, it was dropped whilst on South Post Direct in 2010. Good find, you can keep it! I thought it might have ended up on a ledge part the way up the route, clearly gravity had other ideas.

Looks like the sling lasted best!

it was not far from the foot of South Post and in the middle of the burn under a couple of rocks but given the condition in not surprised it's been there for 6 years. I also recovered a mountain technology warthog, a perfect but rather dubious Russian titanium screw, a couple of slings and found a (red) 50m 9mm rope covered in mud at the foot of centre post. The rope had a sling attached so I suspect there is some sort of scary epic associated.

Excellent! I found a MacInnes Terrordactyl in Easy Gully a few years ago.
I left a warthog behind on Centre Post Al, but it was a Salewa.

the mountain tech warthog and russian ice screw sound like mine (one nested inside the other) but they were dropped down the wand. Did the ice screw have 2 grooves notched across the top ?

Sorry to disappoint however even with hurricane force winds it's highly unlikely that any ice gear could ever move around the cliff several hundred metres from the Wand into Easy gully ☹️
