This is an alternative way to get to the base of the central rib routes. The advantage of this way is that it involves less scrambling through bushes. The disadvantage is that I can't describe well how to get to the first image. The best I can offer is to say you should walk along the base of the wall until you find the 'South Bay' sign bolted to the rock and then head right along the wall (ie: heading south) until you recognise the short scramble next to the tree shown in image 1.
