This looks to be a textbook example of an attempt to dry out a damp grit problem by plastering it with chalk, damaging it in the process, rather than doing the right thing by leaving it for another day. Whether you're responsible for that or not, I hope you at least brushed some of it off before leaving.

Im not sure if you have ever been to this boulder but ive tried it over about 2 years and it has always been covered in chalk as the nature of the climb is slappy with no defined hold. Look at the other images or videos to see what i mean. IF there was more chalk than normal i can assure you it wasnt me as the climb felt easy that and happened 4th try. Please research next time before being rude, thank you.
