Please don't put a sling through the end of a wire. Unlikely, but higher, chance of failure..... use an extended/longer quickdraw, or clip 2 together for extra safety

Hey thanks for the comment, I appreciate its not best practice, the nut was only a few feet above a ledge so it was more for placement practice.
There’s an interesting dmm experiment looking at larks foot vs basket hitch on slings, in hindsight it’s not ‘proper’ and a basket hitch would have been safer. *

I’ve just realised I did basket hitch it, so it seems like that would have been fine from the dmm experiment!
