John lead the route at the very end of the day in fading light, which is why the pictures are a bit soft (they were very underexposed too).I think he then abseiled down it to take out the gear, because it was too dark for anyone to second it. Huge celebration then in the Padarn Lake Hotel that night!

As I said in the caption to the previous Cenotaph shot (but worth repeating for those who have not read that caption) what made this day so special was that both John and I led the Corner on sight, separately (myself at about midday and John c. 7 in the evening)
