it`s allowed to top rope for this one

Is it bollox. This isn't southern sandstone nor a climbing wall, this is proper rock climbing and well within current leading / onsighting standards.
Not good enough to climb it = don't climb it.
Fiend - 27/Aug/07
true.

try it and find out

It's you thats talking bollox Fiend. He is perfectly entitled to climb it in any way he wants from onsight solo to top rope as long as there is no rock damage and he is honest about the ascent to himself and to others.
balnakiel - 03/Jan/10
There is always rock damage. It's not dangerous. Lead it.
Franco Cookson - 24/Mar/10
Notice you have been going a bit of shunting (top roping with a self belay)as well FrancoC. Stratagem is safe too - why dont you just lead it? Surely you're not just another climbing hypocrite?
balnakiel - 31/May/10
I only ever worked FAs and i've only ever attempted Stratagem on the lead! I'm not a hypocrite, just trying to keep routes un-polished.
