Sheesh! That's about a metre's difference from when I did it. Of course in this particular case, the higher pebble level makes for a much more difficult problem ;-).

An conversely for the 'Elephant's Arse' to the left. We hadn't seen the Mid Wales site so didn't know the grades of these two. I did the EA (by udging, and they by a high step up), gave it V1 with the proviso it would be easier with more pebbles, and lo found out that it's actually V0.

Wow – I’ve never seen the pebbles that low before. Hmm, might explain some of the grades. Hope you had fun. Cae Du is one of my fav places in the UK for chilled out bouldering.
