Another Buoux first ascent. Originaly graded 6b+, a tricky gritstonesque arete on limestone. 7a in the latest gudebook.

Did you come in from the chimney just below the (very high) first bolt? The direct start to the right would be great -- why do the French ignore these things?

Yes! We tried the direct start on a toprope and it is nails!
So to get on to the arete you chimney up and step onto the bulge just below the brush marks.
