Best Climbing Experience
South Ridge Direct on Arran was by far my favourite route in the UK after rushing off the midday ferry and then having to walk off in the dark.
Papillion Arete in Chamonix was pretty damn good, as were the long multipitch routes of Ailefroide, Grimsel and Terres Maudites.
Cosmiques Arete was another great day out despite feeling pretty ill all day.
Bare Blåbær on the Lofoten Islands of Norway was stunning, probably one of the best VS routes in Europe?
Lastly a mention to Anvil Chorus, A Dream of White Horses, Old Man of Stoer, South Face Direct, Ardverikie Wall and Grey Panther in the UK.
I’ve tried a bit of ice climbing, Cascade de Lillaz in Cogne, Italy. Easy climbing in an amazing setting with great company. Holiday on Ice in Ceillac - Again easy ice climbing with the Girlfriend in a beautiful place.
