I've recently noticed that Bouldering reads are preceded with the word "Font", what that all about.

One does not boulder anymore, not for a long time, too old and fat, so I have missed whatever has changed.

Assuming Bouldering "reads" is a typo for "grades", it's to make it clear that what's being talked about are boulder grades on the Fontainebleau scale, not French route grades or UK technical grades. Another common convention is to use a capital letter, so "8A" = boulder whereas "8a" = route.
