In reply to wintermute: I have the GroundHog and it seems a better build than my Alpkit Thud so all in all happy with the Groundhog took a highball fall on it at the weekend and well cushioned, although I did only pick it up on Friday so really new
I bought the Metolius Stomp Pad this as my first. I have found it really good, doesnt feel to soft but not to hard. Had so much use and its a really decent size and thickness. Its also really light compared to some pads I have held. Hardly feel it on your back.
Would really recommend it. I did get it at a bargin price of £60 from go outdoors end of last year (not sure why they reduced it as brand spanking) however I would not have any quarms paying the full 100 for it.
In reply to oakleboy: I've got a DMM Dyno which I'm really pleased with, got it for about £120 from V12. My friend has a Moon Saturn which is great, but was quite expensive.
