The last time I went to Salisbury crags (last year), the radical road was closed. I went anyway but was sent away by rangers (who also asked me for a permit by the way).
Does anyone know if the Radical road is still closed?
There was work going on to repair the path on the Radical Road and remove some loose rocks. The best bet is to call the ranger station. They issue the permits to climb in the back quarry.
The rangers can be quite officious and I have been scolded for bouldering before. I know someone who was escorted out of the park previously.
Looks like its been open for about a week. I've walked past the parly, and noticed the barriers are gone, and some folk wandering up.
( The Parky had said they were removing unstable rock, from the crag above the path)

With the sun coming out and dry rock showing its face for the first time in what seems like a lifetime, here's a video to get you inspired to get out there and get back on that old project, or maybe find one that's yet to be climbed.
