Sidenote on the Edmund Fitzgerald: I'd always assumed that the Edmund Fitzgerald referred to something that happened in the late 19th or early 20th centuries. It actually happened in 1975. The wreck has now been found and the explanation of the tragedy as described in the song has been pretty much corroborated.
Fantastic singer/songwriter/guitar player many great songs to choose from although I do particularly enjoy 'The Canadian Railroad Trilogy' (dont be put off by the title )
