Hi all,

I've been asked to help find a venue for an evening talk in Aberdeen, with an expected audience of around 20-50 people.

Can anyone recommend a good venue? (Don't know budget at this point, so willing to consider any price range, within reason).

Try contacting the university, they often are able to make lecture theatres available

I don't know Aberdeen, but when I used to organise stuff like this occasionally for my climbing club in Edinburgh, I often found that city centre pubs with a function room were easiest. They are often free to hire midweek (it's guaranteed custom for the pub) and they often have a projector already in place. Good luck.
