I could really use a couple of these items for a wee project I have at home. I don't want to sacrifice proper krabs for the purpose I have in mind, and anyway they'd probably be too big. The trouble is I have no idea what they're called or where to start looking to buy them! Can anyone advise?
In reply to Wingnut: Thanks for that lead. The trouble is I'm nowhere near Calver! Do you happen to know what the critters are called, or who makes them, so I can try to track them down through Outside's website?

Hassled a load of people off forum for them!
Bloody gear freak...
In reply to Martin W:
They're made by Grivel, called Yaks, usually sold as keyrings but also appear as part of some types of leash system. Just had a poke around on the web and it turns out Hitch and Hike do them in their online catalogue:

Not as strong as normal crabs, so whether they're suitable depends on what you want them for.
In reply to Wingnut: That's brilliant, many thanks for tracking down an online retailer! Strength is not a requirement for this particular application, the shape is the important thing.
