No, he's not on that gig as we booked him first! You can imagine that we were less than chuffed to learn MH were running their tour more or less in direct opposition to our annual fundraiser.

Rob W - Mountain Hardwear05 Nov 2002
In reply to IanMcC: Hi Ian, just to set the record straight we didn't intend the Glasgow leg of the Mountain Hardwear Lecture Tour to conflict with your event in Stirling. As you probably know the dates for organising these events are set months in advance, we booked them pretty much blind i.e. not knowing which other events would be held on the same night. Hopefully your fundraiser wasn't hindered, at least you have my contact details for next years event. Let me know when you are planning it and I'll do my utmost to avoid a clash. I trust that Andy went down well? Always a great speaker, we didn't have him in Glasgow this year as he spoke at last years Glasgow event.
In reply to Rob W - Mountain Hardwear:
Thanks for the note Rob, I don't think the Edinburgh MH event the night before took too many off our crowd. We actually got a minibusful through from Glasgow, too. I'll keep your e-mail address for next year's organisers.
cheers
Ian
