As reported here at UKClimbing.com on Saturday, Es Tresidder just broke the record for the traverse of Skye’s Cuillin Ridge in a time of 3 hrs 17 min 28 sec, taking a full 15 minutes off the previous record (see full report below).
The boys at Hot Aches have got a treat for us all:
In reply to yer maw: Would have been great to see Es do the record-breaking traverse (watching from a helicopter?). Amazed he was even thinking of trying it in the October video.
In reply to Marc C: Yes, would be great to see some good footage of someone running the ridge - obviously a mammoth/expensive job to do it justice.
The Discovery Channel did a brilliant job on the old Eco-Challenge events, with a nice mixture of ground-based filming while following the teams, and amazing aerial shots from helicopters.
In reply to Nick Smith - UKC: Sure there are some fast fell-runners on here who could keep within a reasonable distance and film it on their mobile phones?
