This is something my climbing partner talked about doing last year but kind of got put on a back-burner.
However, we have decided this is the year!
The Idea:
We would like to climb as many Sci-fi themed routes this year as possible, the grade is not important as long as it fits the bill.
We live in Pembrokeshire so we have a good few to start such as Stargate, Star Wars, Space Butress, etc, etc.
I wonder if people can suggest other Science Fiction themed routes around the country.
In reply to Richard James Edmunds: I did a really good new one called Foundation and Empire at Trewavas which need some repeats, if you're down in Cornwall anytime.
Plus The Stars Like Dust at the same crag and Millennium Falcon and The Kessel Run in mid Cornwall's Luxulyan Valley Woods are good if a little esoteric.
At Floor's Craig, on the south Aberdeen coast, you have the esoteric treats of the Pan-Galactic Mealie Pudding, the Interstellar Onion Bridie, Celestial Scampi and the Solar Sausage Supper.
In reply to Richard James Edmunds:
There's two crags up here in Lancashire called Dagobah and Tatooine.
Unsure if they have sci do related routes on them though
