Hi - does anyone know if it would be possible to get to the Edinburgh Parkrun course from the airport by public transport? My flight lands at 8 and I would like to make the 9.30 start. Its a domestic flight so I don't anticipate being held up for long. Any help much appreciated. Cheers, Jamie

The airport bus is pretty frequent. Depends on whether it stops near a bus stop to get to cramond, I dont know what route to get to cramond after that.

Need the 41 to get to Cramond - would be pretty tight to catch it.
The airport bus leaves at 8:08 ( unlikely to get this ) or 8:31, you then need to get the 41 from town which leaves George St at 8:56 to get to Cramond at 9:23, and you've still then got a 10 min walk/jog to start.
Might just be doable by this route: 100 bus to Maybury (opposite Marriot Hotel) then 64 bus at 0846 from Maybury Road to Cramond http://www.horsburghcoaches.com/timetable.php?id=37 arrive 0900, 15 mins walk to start.
Bit risky, though: taxi a much safer option, probably cost you about £15.

Good shout on the other bus company, always forget about them !

Thanks Mark. I'm very used to turning up at my local parkrun with moments to spare but as you say its a little risky! I'll take a taxi. Cheers
