Anyone know where in Sheffield I'd get a big water boiler, to put on a big gaz ring...

and then two big metal tea pots, one for tea one for coffee

this for the Stoney Midleton reunion next Saturday (11th)...

Will be mobile rest of day, so will check later.

Cheers,

Mick

Some decent sized water carriers are needed too, if anyone either has some or knows where we can get some.

In reply to Mick Ryan - UKClimbing.com: I reckon this is as close as you'll get

I would have thought you could rent one from somewhere in Sheff.

I read the Stony article, are you sure those guys will be drinking tea?

In reply to Mick Ryan - UKClimbing.com: You could try a company called Nisbets, they do catering equipment, so a monster pot or urn should be no problem. They sell to the public, deliver next day if needed and I've always found the prices good.

I suppose what we really need to know is whether anyone actually have any of the things we need already rather than having to actually buy them.

In reply to Mick Ryan - UKClimbing.com: A bit late but try your local school, village hall, church, masonic lodge, YHA etc. Some climbing club huts have group catering equipment.

Most of these will loan for a small donation

You could always contact your local Scout group and ask to borrow/rent. I know that my Scout group has several of these.
