The reason I ask is, I spend a LOT of time looking at the pics on here and for the first time in 9/10 years I've came across a pic (actually a couple of the same area) today and thought "I really gotta visit this place!"

I've obviously heard of the area but never been! It's now pretty high up my bucket list!

Yeah a photo of Diabaig a while back.

Been twice since and haven't been disappointed :)

Num Num would advise you to check out the bird restrictions for the area before you visit. World's End is usually ok.

In reply to Padraig: the Eglwyseg escarpment is one of my favourite places. Climbing's a bit crumbly but i love just walking up there along Offa's Dyke path.
It is as beautiful as it looks in the photos....go!

Never but my wife and I were inspired to go to Arran off the Galway coast to see the wormhole

A natural feature. It was amazing & unsettling, as is the island (lots of cliffs too!)

I did first see the photo in the Pembroke Rockfax rather than on UKC though, so not sure if that counts.
To the OP: If you get to Llangollen don't miss out on Kinberg as good a single pitch VS as you'll find anywhere.

In reply to Flinticus: That is one odd shaped wormhole - is it made by some sci-fi robo worm?

In reply to Padraig: Not strictly a pic but I'm thinking of planning a trip to Macedonia next year after watching the video of the bouldering in Markovi Kuli on here a while ago.

Looks like an awesome place
