Frequent showers and strong SE wind tomorrow - a long shot, maybe, but can anyone think of any steep little NW facing buttresses that might stay dry? Striking distance from Bristol.
In reply to bpmclimb: Hi Brian,I had a quick look at your logbook and It does`nt look like you have visited Dinder Woods.Always worth a look as it is very sheltered and dries quickly, also the nettles will have died back now,Martin.
I was at the Yat today, horribly muddy and still quite wet in places. I probably won't go back there until it's been dry for a while. Does anyone know what FCQ is like after a bit of rain?
In reply to samjames91: Good luck Sam. I anticipate the only things dry at Torbs will be Peggy, Pebbles and Wages. Was down at Ansteys yesterday and Empire and Just Revenge were slimed out and cider soak and lynch were wet too. That's normally a good indicator of what Torbs will be like. C
Cuttings may be OK - but it's forecast showers all day, so you might not get much done. Note that it rained a lot last night, so there will be drainage streaks on many routes. Cheyne will be minging as the sea is very rough (and getting rougher).
